Extremely disappointing service. We had booked an appointment online, but upon arrival, the stylist claimed she hadn't received it on her phone, despite it being in their system. She then asked another woman to go on lunch break and then told her she was too busy and would have to attend to us after lunch. She instructed us to return in 20 minutes, which was impossible as we had to pick up my son from school. Her dismissive attitude and lack of understanding were very off-putting. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found another salon in Banstead (Charlie Brown) where we received excellent service at the same price. I highly recommend the alternative salon over this one.
It took me three months to gather my thoughts on my experience as I wanted to be respectful to the salon owner. I requested a trim, press, and treatment which ended up costing me 130 pounds. At the time, I wasn't aware that I was being overcharged, and I should have received a refund. Despite the high cost, the salon is conveniently located for me due to my responsibilities. However, my hair suffered severe damage after the appointment. I have curly hair, and the ends turned straight due to the damage caused. A professional stylist friend informed me that chemicals were used on my hair without my consent. I had only asked for a trim, press, and regular treatment. I am furious that such a mistake was made, especially when customers expect a high standard of service, particularly when it comes to hair care. I had to cut my hair very short to get rid of the damage and have been diligently working to restore its health. I called the salon to report the damage, and they offered a treatment, but why should I have to pay more to fix a mistake that should never have happened? I have had silk presses before without any issues, so I know this was mishandled. I am disappointed in the lack of care and will not be recommending this salon to anyone.
I visited this hair salon for the first time and left feeling quite dissatisfied. I clearly communicated that I wanted my hair nicely trimmed with layers, not cut short. However, the stylist ended up taking off about 20cm from the back of my hair, which was not what I wanted at all. When I asked her about her experience, she mentioned she had only been in the job for 2 months. If I had known she was inexperienced and clueless about handling hair, I wouldn't have bothered coming in. I didn't have the heart to complain to her boss, but the haircut was terrible, and I had to seek another stylist to fix it. I would advise others to avoid this salon.
