Visited this establishment after a disappointing experience elsewhere, so was hopeful upon seeing the enticing photos. However, I departed feeling rather disheartened after 2.5 hours. I requested a soak off to change the nail shape and start anew, only to be instructed to submerge my hands into a bowl of remover nestled within another vessel of scalding water from the kettle. This occurred 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time (4pm), which I tolerated. I then requested chunky, thick square nails (and presented a picture of the exact style I desired due to prior unsatisfactory experiences), yet they were filed down to a pointy shape instead. Upon requesting a redo to achieve the square shape, the male technician appeared visibly irritated and persisted in filing them down aggressively. Eventually, the lady intervened to try to rectify the situation, but the outcome was rather futile. Despite the need for a complete redo, the salon had already closed, compelling me to reluctantly accept the subpar result and depart from the rear exit (at 6:30pm) with adhesive residue and uneven nails. While I appreciated the effort to salvage the situation, I was nonetheless charged £37 - although £10 was deducted for the soak off, the original price being a staggering £47. Considering my dissatisfaction with the outcome, the final cost should have been lower.
