Today, my daughter-in-law went in for a haircut where the stylist kept making derogatory remarks about her hair and ended up cutting it too short and unevenly. This left my daughter-in-law feeling very self-conscious. When she voiced her concerns over the phone, she was instructed to return so they could assess the situation. Upon her arrival, she was accused of lying, and all they did was straighten her hair, further exacerbating her distress with their comments. I would not recommend this establishment as they have a tendency to undermine people's self-esteem with their unprofessional conduct. I hesitated to give a star rating, but it is necessary for me to post this so you can respond - I am well aware that her account is not false, as once again, she was labeled a liar. No refund was offered in any capacity.
Visited this establishment for a manicure today, Elizabeth did a fantastic French manicure that looked incredibly natural. I was so delighted that I inquired if they could fit me in for a wash, cut, and blow dry. Elizabeth did an outstanding job, and I was overjoyed! I felt like a rejuvenated individual, I absolutely adore this salon - Olivia, Emma, and Elizabeth & the team are exceptionally pleasant. The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm, I feel completely at ease here, and the other patrons I've encountered are equally friendly. I highly recommend this salon for genuinely kind individuals who strive to make you feel fantastic.
My son has ASD and struggles immensely with getting his hair cut, the whole experience can be extremely distressing for him. We decided to try out Hues after hearing about their sensory room. The room was serene and peaceful, devoid of any other disturbances, every detail had been carefully considered, right down to the clippers used to minimize vibration and noise. I didn't catch the name of the lady who cut my son's hair, but she made him feel incredibly welcome, consistently checking if he was comfortable and engaging with him in a manner that encouraged him to respond - something he rarely does with strangers. He had a completely different experience compared to anything he had encountered before, and it made a significant impact! Will definitely be returning for another haircut.
