My visit to the Edinburgh salon was absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I received a hair treatment and blowout, as well as the best facial I have ever had. My skin felt radiant and refreshed afterward. I also indulged in a full body deep tissue massage which left me feeling incredibly relaxed - I even fell asleep during the session. My niece, who accompanied me, also had a wonderful mini treatment. I have never been disappointed - all treatments are of a superior quality. Moreover, Swanky offers a diverse array of top-notch services which can be perused on their website. My personal experience involved a cut and colour service carried out by a stylist charging senior rates, who nevertheless had to seek guidance from the owner regarding colour selection and application techniques. Regrettably, I left the salon with no discernible change to my appearance but a noticeable dent in my wallet. Throughout the appointment, there was a distinct lack of communication, creating an unwelcoming and elitist atmosphere that deterred me from expressing my dissatisfaction. Interestingly, my initial review for the salon awarded five stars following a stellar service by a former employee, who unfortunately departed on maternity leave and never returned. Mentioning this positive experience to Guy on a subsequent visit was met with indifference, as he dismissed the significance of reviews. How perspectives have shifted, Guy.
