The aspects that matter most to me in such places are the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the spa, as well as the professionalism of the staff 😊 The facial was incredibly relaxing, and the individual performing it clearly has a passion for their work, which is evident from the get-go. I visited the salon for a full leg and Hollywood waxing session, and I was quite disappointed. It seemed like the attendant lacked expertise, especially during the Hollywood waxing as the wax kept breaking. It was the most painful waxing experience I've ever had, and I felt judged when she attributed it to the thickness of my hair. I even considered leaving midway through. To top it off, they didn't have change for payment, so I ended up leaving a £3 tip. I had a marvellous experience at Benjamin Bailey. I received a truly fantastic hair cut and a set of blonde highlights that were the ideal shade- not yellow-toned at all which is always a concern of mine. This was in preparation for my brother's wedding in the summer and it turned out absolutely flawless. unfortunately my experience today in this salon was dreadful, the hairdresser there made me feel very upset, I understand that last Saturday I arrived 15 minutes late for the appointment. I wasn't able to cut my hair at that moment, I understood perfectly, they scheduled me for the afternoon, unfortunately I couldn't attend for personal reasons. yesterday I went there not to see if I could be attended to I was judged even though I apologized for not showing up the previous Saturday, I was scheduled for an appointment today at 12:00 my name was written in pencil unfortunately today I went there the hairdresser told me in a loud tone so that the whole room can hear saying that the appointment was missed yesterday at 3.30 pm when yesterday I clearly said that I couldn't I don't know why I was marked and my name is not CRB as it was there, my name was clearly erased made a scene still accused me of not being responsible for my notes that I had already missed about 3/4 times when it is not true. I was extremely shocked even when I explained it, they didn't want to hear me, it was dreadful. I would highly recommend this place as I was a regular customer but unfortunately from now on I won't do it again. the lady who does the eyebrows and waxing is very nice and respectful.
