The nail technician did not apply the nails correctly, leaving gaps between my natural nail and the acrylics. She cut my fingers twice as she was engrossed in watching a show on her phone and barely paying attention to her work. Additionally, I had to sit for an hour and a half for my nails to dry. The staff were pleasant, but the application was subpar.
Had made a reservation for a vacation through social media a few weeks beforehand - received confirmation. Arrived only to be informed that there was no one available to do my nails due to staffing problems and asked if I could reschedule for another day. Was informed that this had been an issue with staffing since the morning (5:45 pm appointment) and when I inquired why no one had reached out to me, they were unable to provide an answer.
Hot Tips salon is a gem! The staff there are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and create a warm atmosphere in the salon. I've been a customer for a few years now, not regularly, but every time I go for a pedicure or manicure, I leave happy. Keep up the fantastic work.
