Regrettably, my experience at the salon was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, I had dyed my hair over a year ago and specifically requested a permanent dye service to match my natural dark brown hair colour as closely as possible. However, as evident in the photos I have attached, my roots turned out dark brown instead of the pitch black chosen by the stylist. Had the senior stylist taken a moment to properly assess my hair, they would have noticed that my natural hair is not as dark as the black dye used. There was a lack of thorough consultation before the dye application began - I assumed that requesting a match to my natural hair colour would be straightforward, especially with several inches of roots to reference, but I was not shown the colour being used or provided with any information. The entire process felt rushed and poorly executed. I am deeply disappointed as I had hoped to avoid a noticeable contrast between my natural hair and the dye as my hair grows out, which was the issue I was trying to address. Unfortunately, it seems I will be facing the same problem again. While the other staff members were delightful, I cannot overlook the fact that the senior stylist failed to deliver the desired outcome for my hair.

My hairdresser Tom consistently delivers exceptional cuts and excels in hair colouring, always achieving the perfect tones! His wealth of knowledge shines through as he provides me with valuable advice on the best tones and cuts for me. The trust I have built with my hairdresser and the outstanding service provided by Foster Hair's staff are truly remarkable 🤍
Since 2016, I have been a loyal client of the Shoreditch salon and have consistently had wonderful experiences. Today, Roma took care of my hair colouring, cut, and styling, and she did a phenomenal job with the colour and the layers I requested. I am extremely pleased with the final result. The assistant who washed my hair (I did not catch her name, but she had short hair and piercings) was also delightful and provided me with one of the best hair wash experiences I have had at the salon. Without a doubt, I will continue to return for their exceptional service.
