The Good Salon was founded on a strong friendship between Ivan and Oon, both seasoned professionals in the hair industry. Oon, an esteemed international hair educator, served as the creative director at Vidal Sassoon Academy for a decade, travelling the globe to impart his knowledge to hairstylists, showcase his skills at events, and lead teams during London Fashion Week. Ivan hails from a family of hairdressing entrepreneurs in Italy, kickstarting his career there before gaining experience in Australia and later pursuing further education at the renowned Sassoon Academy in London. His collaboration with hairstylists worldwide on various projects and events has not diverted his attention from his loyal clientele, whom he continues to serve diligently on the salon floor.

I have scheduled appointments with Ayaka twice now for root bleaching, toning, and Olaplex treatments. Both times were fantastic, and she is very patient with my hair while working efficiently and carefully. My natural hair is dark, and we have been transitioning it to a light blonde shade, which takes around 6 to 7 hours - if you have dark hair and aim for a blonde look, be prepared to dedicate a full day to your appointment!
I had the most wonderful experience ever with Ayaka!! I wanted to have layers and bangs done, and throughout the appointment, she was incredibly attentive! We had a brief chat before starting to ensure she understood exactly what I wanted, and she was more than willing to consider my preferences while also offering suggestions :) We had a great time chatting and laughing during the appointment, she is incredibly kind and skilled, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I believe I have finally discovered the salon I will be visiting regularly 🌿💅🏻
