I visited this establishment last Thursday to have my eyebrows waxed in preparation for a formal occasion. Initially, my eyebrows had a pleasing shape, but unfortunately, the individual performing the waxing removed excessive hair from both the top and bottom, resulting in a misshapen and sparse appearance. It was not surprising that the salon was devoid of customers. A truly dreadful experience - I left my appointment with my nails in ruins after requesting a Shellac removal and simple manicure. The technician, in an attempt to speed up the removal process, buffed my nails so vigorously that she left permanent marks. I departed with deep scratches on my nails that have now become incredibly sensitive. At one point, I informed her that she was causing me pain, but she continued to buff with annoyance. Despite my repeated attempts to convey my dissatisfaction, nothing changed. During my initial visit to this spa in early December for a "Classic Pedicure," the cost of Shellac nail polish removal and reapplication was included in the overall price (£50.00). On my return for a second appointment for the same treatment, I opted not to have polish reapplied, yet I was unexpectedly charged extra for the removal at the start of the session. Having had my nails done in various locations worldwide, I have never encountered a situation where polish removal was an additional cost during a pedicure. Having my nails redone for the past 15 years, this recent experience was by far the worst. One nail broke just a day after, and within 10 days, 3 out of 4 nails had chipped. In all my previous nail salons, I never had a single nail break within 4-5 weeks. The service was rushed as they did my "infill + shellac" and "Pedicure + shellac" within just 1 hour and 10 minutes! How can such poor quality work be acceptable? A proper pedicure should take at least an hour of dedicated care.
