According to the online information, the pharmacy should have been open until 10 pm, and 9 pm today due to the bank holiday. After a 30-minute journey, I arrived to find it closed without any explanation. The staff were unhelpful, and myself along with other customers were shocked and upset to discover that we couldn't get our medication after making a specific trip. Absolutely dreadful.
The pharmacy at Waterloo station used to be dependable, but now it's quite disappointing. When I went to get two prescriptions filled, they took my prescription forms, disappeared with them for around 15 minutes, and then came back to charge me. After waiting another 15 minutes, they informed me that one of the prescribed medications was unavailable and asked me to wait. I was furious as I needed that specific medication as per the prescription. Consequently, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a refund on the prescriptions. I would seriously reconsider visiting this pharmacy.
Fatima - a locum pharmacist - was extremely helpful and kind as we searched for the right medication for our little girl. The stock was limited, and the whole pharmacy seemed a bit overwhelmed (possibly due to the London Marathon yesterday), but Fatima went above and beyond to assist us. The medication she provided in the end is working wonderfully :-D
