AVOID! I developed an ingrown toenail due to the pedicure I received there!!!
Second visit to this spot. Initial time, booked through Treatwell and left with an average experience. I aimed to have a shellac manicure with French tips in two unconventional hues, yet the technician mentioned that those colours wouldn't blend well. I displayed a photo of it being done that way previously, but she claimed her products couldn't achieve it. I did a walk-in today and encountered a similar situation when I requested a shellac manicure with a cat-eye design. This involves using a magnetic wand to manipulate the polish into a pattern. Maybe my technician wasn't well-versed in this technique, as she stated she could solely create a line down the middle for an additional 15 quid on top of the 45 quid (60 quid total!). When I displayed how another tech at a different Coco Nails branch executed it, this technician argued that it was a different product type and the photo I showed was due to unique lighting! Subsequently, she began conversing in Vietnamese with her colleagues, likely insinuating that I was a challenging customer. I chose not to confront anyone. I allowed her to finish (even though I should have requested a third coat) and paid her 60 quid quietly before departing. Nonetheless, I won't return as this marks the second time I didn't receive the service I desired and encountered rudeness. They may be quick, but I've had superior and more aesthetically pleasing manicures at other salons that are much more welcoming. Perhaps it's just my ill fortune if others had significantly better experiences...
