I’m really disappointed with the service I received here. I came into the salon to simply get my hair tied up as I had an event later that day and I’ve got a disability so I can’t do it myself. For something that would’ve simply taken 5 minutes, it was made into an hour and a half’s procedure. Everything that I requested not to happen, did happen. I asked the hairdresser not to use spray as I’d just washed my hair and he used it, and it left crusty/sticky residue in my hair. We came to take my hair out later and it had been tied in a knot and was matted, it has completely wrecked the ends of my hair. He said he wanted to cut my hair and I said no, and luckily he listened to that request as all others had been ignored. I came to pay, as I was expecting to have to pay a small fee for just putting it in a ponytail. I was charged £20 for having it be put in a half up half down, something that anybody could’ve done and the hairdresser said that this “was a discount”. I spoke to friends to receive advice later that day and they said that I’d been taken advantage of because of my disability. It’s such a shame as the hairdresser was a lovely person, very talkative and interested in my life - it’s just a shame that I didn’t receive satisfactory service and was exploited for being disabled.
My second time coming here last time I only got an express manicure the day before I went on holiday to Seoul, this time I got the shellac manicure and pedicure as I was tired of my nails constantly breaking at work so I decided to get them treated properly I knew I'd get a bit of discomfort and pain as they were being done but everything was perfect. I Highly recommend this place to anyone that gets their nails done or if you just need to have it treated properly. Also the staff are very kind and nice 😄
I’m not happy with my gel manicure. The manicurist struggled to remove my old gel and was quite rough with my nails and it hurt. The application is very thin and uneven with parts that are not smooth and my cuticles haven’t been properly cared for. Not to mention the water I was given to soak my hands in was freezing. Do not recommend
