My companions and I had an extremely disappointing experience while receiving manicures and pedicures. It was evident that the staff lacked proper training and simply carried out tasks that could easily be done at home. There was no trimming, massaging, shaping, or buffing of our nails. One of my friends was subjected to cold air to dry her nail polish, leaving her feeling uncomfortably cold. Essentially, we were just left to soak in water and that was labelled as a "spa" treatment. Despite my request for a shiny buff without nail polish, I was only given a 30-second buff that left my nails looking worse than before. The explanation provided was that "this is how it's done." To make matters worse, my ingrown nail was cut without consent and not in a proper manner. I ultimately declined the manicure as it would have been a waste of both my time and money to receive essentially nothing in return. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The service was subpar, and it was evident that the staff lacked expertise.

I cannot find a single flaw with Sophie’s; the team, ambiance, and work quality are exceptional. When I contacted them in October regarding my wedding services, I received the most attentive care from the start. Meg, who took care of my nails, makeup, and hair, was phenomenal, even arriving early to ensure everything was perfect. I usually feel out of place in beauty environments, fearing judgment for my lack of knowledge, but the entire staff here made me feel comfortable - even on my wedding day! I will definitely be a frequent visitor.

I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The transformation is truly stunning, and I feel like a whole new person. I can't wait for my next appointment next month. A big thank you to the team for their amazing work. Simply wow! xxx
