I am absolutely overjoyed with the service provided by Lucie! I have been considering getting my eyebrows microbladed for a while now, but I always felt too anxious. After an extensive search, I stumbled upon Lucie’s Instagram page and I am so grateful that I did. I scheduled an initial consultation in November, and Lucie immediately made me feel at ease. She thoroughly explained the procedure, the expected outcome of my brows, conducted a patch test, and exuded professionalism. I promptly booked a full appointment and I am beyond pleased with the results - my eyebrows look incredible! I find myself admiring them constantly. The moment I entered Lucie’s treatment room, I felt at ease; she is so warm and welcoming. The treatment was painless, and I felt comfortable right away. The detailed and informative information provided for aftercare was exactly what I needed. My brows are simply stunning! Due to thyroid issues, I have experienced significant thinning, leaving little hair for Lucie to work with, but she truly worked her magic as an artist. Following the treatment, I felt a surge of confidence! My face finally has a frame, and the microblading is so natural-looking that it's truly astonishing! I visited this salon as my regular waxing technician was fully booked. In hindsight, I should have waited. The waxing process was quick and the technician was friendly, however, she arrived 20 minutes late without offering an explanation or an apology. I noticed that she repeatedly dipped the same spatula into a large pot of wax, even after I had some bleeding. This raised concerns about hygiene as the same spatula could have been used on multiple clients. Additionally, I was unsure about the use of strips for sugar waxing as it left more broken hairs than my usual experience. My skin also felt more irritated than usual, possibly due to the wax being microwaved and applied too hot. The overall atmosphere of the salon was not particularly warm or relaxing. While the experience wasn't terrible, I found it somewhat unprofessional, especially regarding hygiene practices. I cannot praise enough the treatment I received at Lulu's. I have been coming here regularly since 2021 for laser tattoo removal. I usually see Georgina for my treatments and she is always very welcoming, and so is their receptionist Daisy. I have also had one session with Danny who is lovely too :-) The team are always lovely when I go in, very friendly and knowledgeable about their services. It is such a quick process but it is always done thoroughly with no issues. When I first started the process was explained to me in detail including aftercare and how it would heal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the salon room was beautifully decorated. Our nail technicians were exceptional, and we spent a delightful afternoon feeling like royalty.
