This is an honest review of the wax I just had. First tiny red(ish) flag was there wasn’t a fresh wipe for you on the table nor a towel to cover yourself. Not a big deal I guess but after getting waxes for 7 years you get used to having things a certain way. Then, the first small talk was about how she’s had loads of complaints yesterday which I don’t think is the most positive thing to talk about when you’re with a brand new customer. Anyway, I laughed it off. The next strange interaction was when she saw my hair and said oh it’s quite long and that I ‘should have trimmed it at home’. Never, in any wax I’ve been to, have I been told to trim it myself. Either they trim no problem or they prefer not to trim and get straight to it! That was one thing that annoyed me because it felt like I was a nuisance when I’m paying for your services!! Anyway, the wax itself was thorough but some bits really nipped me (minor). However, the majority was painless so I can’t complain there. Then, I asked how she wants me to do my buttocks. She told me “Brazilian doesn’t include buttocks but I’ll do it for you”. I was quite taken aback, as I have been getting the same Brazilian for years and it has always included the buttocks area. Again, it felt like she was doing me a favour and I should be grateful?! Very bizarre. The last thing that felt odd was when she didn’t leave the room to let me get changed so I had to put back on my underwear and skirt in front of her which made me feel like a kid who’s just been scolded…About

I've been frequenting the same barber all my life until the pandemic struck and my barber moved abroad. In a state of urgency, I scoured my local neighbourhood and stumbled upon Toni and Guy. Claire at the Ealing Broadway outlet has been handling my hair colour and highlights ever since, and she's absolutely fantastic. She's consistently polite, understanding, and attentive. I always depart with my hair feeling rejuvenated, and even when we've brought my elderly mother along to wait with us, they treat her with the same level of care and consideration. The entire team, including the manager and assistants, are incredibly welcoming and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Greatest experience I’ve ever had at a barbershop. Went in for a head shave and a beard tidy. Absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Cat was delightful, explained her plan and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I wish this could be my regular barbershop but it’s 180 miles too far as I’m working away from home :(

I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE VISITING THIS ESTABLISHMENT! NOT EVEN TO MY WORST FOE. This gentleman is unprofessional and deceitful. He is a fraud. I reserved an electrolysis hair removal session. He failed to disclose the potential side effects of the treatment and persuaded me to prepay for multiple sessions to save some cash. I handed over £80 for an hour. Only received a 30-minute treatment. My face felt tender and swollen. It was dreadful. I had a planned one-week trip a few days later. He has harmed the skin around my neck. I have bumps beneath the skin on my neck. I requested a reimbursement for the remaining 30 minutes; he declined. He proposed a £20 treatment instead. What a scam! He refuses to let me transfer that treatment to someone else, as I am so repulsed by that establishment.
