The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating; they were patient, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer advice and reassurance. Feeling quite let down by the service, although the ladies were friendly. They claim to apply Russian lash extensions, but the lashes I received resemble the cheap individual lashes from Penney's. There's no volume whatsoever! Communication was good, but the services advertised were not provided. *Updated based on the response* I was never shown the lashes before or after application, most of the communication was through Alexis, but the lash technician just nodded when I explained what I wanted. Perhaps she didn't understand my accent or her English was lacking, which is why Alexis handled most of the communication. It wouldn't have been an issue if she had mentioned the condition of my natural lashes from the beginning, like "Apologies, madam, your natural lashes may not support the full Russian lashes you requested. Is it okay to proceed?" Instead, I lay there for hours only to get what you 'assumed'. I paid for a service, not for opinions. The funniest part is my 'partner', as you mentioned, wasn't present. It was unprofessional to use that as an excuse. 'Oh, but your partner said it looked better than your usual' - yes, fine. But as the one who paid for the service, I didn't like it and clearly stated my preferences. The fact that you didn't bother to call back but responded to my review two weeks later speaks volumes. I specifically mentioned I was travelling a long way based on the service you described over the phone - 'it lasts 4 weeks, darling, it's waterproof, it'll endure' - only for lashes to start falling out on the train journey home. Five weeks later, I still have random lash strands clinging on, with 3/4 of them gone. Your adhesive is probably worse than the previous one you claimed I had. I provided a detailed review to address the points you made in your response. Thank you for the apology, but such reviews could be avoided by simply returning a call. I saw Kai about a month ago (apologies for the delayed review). I was dealing with upper back and jaw pain. He was very thorough in his approach. While the massage could be intense at times, it was effective, and if it ever felt too much, a simple request for gentler pressure was all it took. I felt a bit tender for a day or two after, but soon after, the jaw pain I had been enduring for weeks vanished! If the pain resurfaces, I would not hesitate to return. Extremely courteous and respectful upon my arrival. I chose the 60-minute full body massage. With a persistent backache and it had been months since my last massage, I felt it was much needed.
Having experienced numerous massages in the past and knowing what a good massage entails, I regret to say that the massage I received at Sekura was subpar.
It did not last an hour. I paid for 60 minutes and only got 30 minutes. I truly needed the full hour, as the person attending to me was very kind but spoke no English, making communication impossible.About

Our journey began with a search for places to visit in Edinburgh as we were travelling from Glasgow for the weekend. My husband had always mentioned wanting to try a couples spa package, but I was the one who usually hesitated. This time, I surprised him by booking the Romeo and Juliet package for our trip.
It all started with an email inquiry, which was promptly and professionally answered by a gentleman named Liam. After receiving all the necessary information, I made the booking and paid the deposit.
We arrived just before our scheduled time of 6 pm, took some lovely selfies on the stunning chairs in the waiting area, and were then called to the room. Everything was explained clearly and promptly, and we were directed to the champagne on ice and chocolates.
After enjoying the jacuzzi and sauna undisturbed for about 30 minutes, we were informed that it was time for our massage. We showered, put on our swimwear, and got onto the massage beds. The therapists were excellent, and we were amazed by the experience.
The staff was welcoming and professional throughout, making us feel comfortable. The massage was fantastic, and we felt incredibly relaxed. I even dozed off during the treatment, which speaks volumes about how at ease we were.
Following the hot oil massage, we had a body scrub that left us feeling refreshed beyond belief. After showering and getting dressed, we felt like we were walking on air. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to others. We can't wait to return to Edinburgh and book again.
