Our journey began with a search for places to visit in Edinburgh as we were travelling from Glasgow for the weekend. My husband had always mentioned wanting to try a couples spa package, but I was the one who usually hesitated. This time, I surprised him by booking the Romeo and Juliet package for our trip.
It all started with an email inquiry, which was promptly and professionally answered by a gentleman named Liam. After receiving all the necessary information, I made the booking and paid the deposit.
We arrived just before our scheduled time of 6 pm, took some lovely selfies on the stunning chairs in the waiting area, and were then called to the room. Everything was explained clearly and promptly, and we were directed to the champagne on ice and chocolates.
After enjoying the jacuzzi and sauna undisturbed for about 30 minutes, we were informed that it was time for our massage. We showered, put on our swimwear, and got onto the massage beds. The therapists were excellent, and we were amazed by the experience.
The staff was welcoming and professional throughout, making us feel comfortable. The massage was fantastic, and we felt incredibly relaxed. I even dozed off during the treatment, which speaks volumes about how at ease we were.
Following the hot oil massage, we had a body scrub that left us feeling refreshed beyond belief. After showering and getting dressed, we felt like we were walking on air. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to others. We can't wait to return to Edinburgh and book again. I had the pleasure of being styled by a lovely lady named Siobhan, and she worked wonders on my hair. A friend recommended Belfast Physio and Massage, where I scheduled a Sports Massage with Lee. Lee struck me as composed, professional, and an excellent listener. The massage pressure suited me perfectly, and I felt secure in Lee's care. He actively engaged with me, paying attention to my pain points and addressing them effectively. Overall, I couldn't fault anything here; the ambiance is serene and welcoming without feeling too clinical. Remy at the reception is a valuable asset - professional, casually youthful, and amicable. Personally not a fan of nature sounds during treatments, so the music choice here was ideal for me. I've booked additional sessions with Lee, understanding that progress can take time. I had to hastily visit the cash dispenser on the Dublin Road to withdraw funds and return for my treatment, disrupting the relaxation. Advance notice about the payment method would have been appreciated. It seems unreasonable for a spa to not accept card payments.
