1st time visiting Manor Spa. Reception staff were lovely, very accommodating, although we had to wait a bit for our session to start due to delays, they made sure we were comfortable in the waiting area. I had booked couples massage for me and my sister as a birthday treat and we were taken to the couples room which was beautifully lit up with candles and the ambience was great. We had booked the Thai hot oil massage which was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep, there were some parts which weren't as relaxing but that it because I had so many knots in my neck and shoulders but I'm grateful he paid extra attention to release the tension. All in all a great massage, good service and worth the money! Will be visiting again 👍About

My appointment for a haircut was a bit of a letdown at this place. I had booked in advance but it appears that punctuality isn't their strong suit. The stylist I was scheduled with arrived nearly half an hour late, and the haircut and styling took a whopping one and a half hours. This delay caused me to be almost an hour late for my next commitment. To add to the frustration, I was charged £45 despite not even receiving a hair wash, whereas the initial quote was £38. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the hairstylists seemed unsure, and there was a visible lack of clarity between them and the owner. It seems like the pricing is ad hoc rather than following a fixed rate as advertised.About

I've been visiting this establishment for massages a few times annually for the past 8 or so years, and it remains my preferred place for a massage. After reading other reviews, I feel disheartened because the ladies who have massaged me have always been exceptionally kind, compassionate, and truly skilled in Chinese massage techniques. The massages are vigorous, akin to sports massages, which I find quite enjoyable. I have always felt at ease here and have not observed any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. She offered to reimburse me £30 so I could seek another practitioner (bearing in mind I had paid her £130). She requested proof of payment, which I provided, then declined to refund me!!! NOT RECOMMENDED! Furthermore, she has sent me threatening messages.About

Despite the option to seek another salon, I wouldn't consider it. Kuldip's meticulous service during my initial visit was exceptional. I've had my fair share of disappointing haircuts due to my double crown, often leaving feeling dissatisfied and disliking my hair. As we strolled past the parlour, I encouraged him to seize the moment, not overthink it, and kickstart his tattoo journey then and there.
Following a pleasant conversation with the skilled staff at the reception, my dad finally had his tattoo inked. I am truly delighted for him and grateful to the parlour for accommodating us without an appointment, promptly completing the tattoo.

It was quite a journey for me to have my ears re-pierced. A friend had done them for me previously, but they ended up uneven. Today, I finally mustered the courage to go, and the piercer I encountered was truly exceptional. They made a genuine effort to understand my preferences. However, another staff member, presumably a superior, intervened. This individual expressed discomfort with the spacing I desired between my three lobe piercings. They went as far as to assert that they couldn't permit me to leave with the piercings as I wanted. Instead, they marked where the piercer could pierce my ears, despite one side already having the first and third piercings, thus determining the spacing. Despite my efforts to cooperate, the staff member was impolite, instructing me not to touch my ears, even though I was merely trying to comprehend their suggestions. Moreover, they proceeded to handle my ears with bare, unsanitized hands. Ultimately, I felt coerced and, as a result, ended up with the second piercings placed too close together once again. I have since removed them and plan to revisit the idea in a few months at a different establishment. The staff member dismissed my concerns about spacing and instructed the piercer not to bother ensuring symmetry on both sides, claiming that no one would notice any irregularities since they wouldn't be visible. The lack of concern for health and safety was evident; it was simply a matter of the staff member disapproving of my desired spacing. I wish I had considered walking away, but by that point, I was so emotionally drained and felt bullied that I acquiesced when I shouldn't have. By the end of the ordeal, I was so disheartened that if the piercer had suggested placing the third piercing where I didn't want it, I likely would have agreed. The staff member's behaviour left me feeling so disempowered that it didn't even occur to me to simply walk away or ask them to stop interfering with my ears. If those thoughts had crossed my mind, I would have left.
