Just had my first session at Hair Haven for a balayage and blow-dry. What a wonderful stylist, she made me feel so at ease and the results are stunning. Much better than my previous salon experiences. I was really disappointed with the service as I didn't receive it! I had booked my appointment over a week in advance to ensure I could get a wax in time for my holiday. Upon arrival, I was informed that they had been trying to reach me on a number that wasn't even mine. There was a clear miscommunication between the therapist and the receptionist. Furthermore, I was told that my skin was too sensitive just by a glance, which I found hard to believe. I had come for a Hollywood wax but didn't even get that! When I asked if she could do my legs or armpits, the answer was a flat "no". It's frustrating when my skin is not actually sensitive, and other professionals in the industry have not made such assumptions just by looking at me. It was a complete waste of time, and now I have to go on holiday for two weeks without a wax!
