The waxing room appeared neglected, with old wax spilling over from the melter. Reusable applicators were used, leading to concerns about hygiene. Dim lighting made the process challenging, resulting in an unsatisfactory outcome resembling a half-plucked chicken. Upon returning home, I spent over 30 minutes individually removing leftover hairs. It became evident that most of my hair was broken, not pulled from the root, exacerbating my ingrown hair issue. Fiona's pleasant demeanor was the sole positive aspect. For those seeking cleanliness and quality, I strongly advise against this venue. One day, while in Arbury Court, I stumbled upon a salon and decided to inquire about their services and prices. I am grateful that I did because I immediately connected with Alex, who was welcoming and informative. I have been a loyal customer ever since, and I adore how she styles and colours my hair! I suspect this is their routine for all negative feedback. Hence, the validity of the "5-star" reviews, mostly from accounts with minimal reviews, is questionable! Twice I booked with Elle, but someone else did my lashes! Regardless of your booking, they'll assign you randomly! I can't understand why there are negative comments about this place. The staff were friendly, and the salon was quite tidy. I only paid £40 for my nails, which I think is a reasonable price. The technician I had was pleasant, although she kept reminding me to relax my fingers while filing my nails vigorously. Interestingly, my friend, who is the same age as me but shorter, had to get permission from her mum to have her nails done, which I found a bit unfair.
