Feeling let down 😖
I've been a patron of this establishment since its inception. However, today was utter chaos. Walk-ins were not being turned away, and I was left soaking in cold water at the pedicure station for an extended period. There was no semblance of a luxurious spa pedicure experience! The massage chair wasn't even activated, and dry skin on my heel was addressed but not on the side of my toe. After what felt like an eternity, the toenails were left unpainted. I was then relocated to a table and had to perch my foot on the gentleman's lap for the shellac application, all while seated on a swivel chair with both hands immersed in a bowl of nail varnish remover. I was handed a piece of kitchen roll to remove the old polish myself. During my 'manicure' (if it can be called that), my nails were tended to in between attending to other clients. The final outcome was subpar, and truthfully, I felt uneasy to voice my concerns amidst the chaotic atmosphere of the salon - understaffed, disheveled, noisy with children's TV blaring; certainly not the serene experience I had anticipated for my £80! I believe in fairness, so I will return during a quieter period in the week to see if they will acknowledge or rectify the situation.
