Oh my, my brows have never looked better! I had an appointment with Blake at the benefit counter in Boots Brent Cross. He is a true professional, very friendly, and did an outstanding job. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time getting waxed, but he made me feel at ease. I also had a tint done. I highly recommend him!

I visited the Natural Curls salon on the 1st of July 2021.
It was my first time going to a hair salon since embracing my natural hair.
I felt a bit anxious due to past hairstyling experiences, but I wanted to give the salon another chance. I reached out to several natural hair salons in and around London, but none were as prompt as Klerissa in addressing my numerous queries before booking. Her responsiveness convinced me to make an appointment.
Upon meeting Klerissa, I found her to be incredibly warm and welcoming. She kindly accommodated my early arrival and provided a personalized 1:1 service. Despite us running over the scheduled time, she displayed great patience in handling my hair, which put me at ease. I appreciated how she listened attentively to my hair care routine and adjusted her approach accordingly. Her gentle finger detangling technique and careful handling of my hair stood out to me.
I was also grateful for the valuable advice on improving my detangling process. Moreover, I was impressed by Klerissa's use of low heat during the blow-drying phase, using 230 degrees specifically for my fine strands in preparation for the silk press. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the service, impressed by her expertise, and delighted that my kinky coily hair showed no signs of heat damage, with my ends feeling much healthier post-trim. My only suggestion would be to have the range of natural hairstyles offered by Curly by Nature, along with pricing details for trims, treatments, and any discounts for students and NHS staff, displayed on the website.
I believe this transparency would attract customers who may be unable to afford premium hair care services but are interested in visiting Curly By Nature.

I've been a contented Lorna Edinburgh visitor on and off since the 1990s. I started frequenting the current salon back in 2022. The amenities aren't top-notch given the prices charged, as others have noted, but I was usually quite pleased with the haircuts. Today marked my initial appointment at this salon in a few moons, and I was astounded to be informed upon arrival that I couldn't receive a haircut because the stylist only felt confident cutting lengthy hair (I sport a short graduated bob). I was informed that whoever scheduled with me should have verified the length of my hair when I phoned. An alternative stylist was offered to me if I was willing to wait for 45 minutes. That just wasn't feasible for me. I'm uncertain about the ongoings behind the scenes at this salon, but they appear to be making an extra effort to deter clients from ever returning. It's truly unfortunate because this was once a superb chain with two exceptional salons in Edinburgh.
