have had piercings done here and have nothing but good things to say. Members of staff were incredibly friendly and professional and the studio itself was immaculate. It's clear the staff knew exactly what they were doing; they had a brief feel of my ear before my conch piercing and immediately knew which points to be avoiding to prevent any additional pain or healing. Very reasonable price and was in and out in 10 minutes having just walked in off the street. I was also provided with thorough aftercare instructions and have no doubt that if I were to have issues I could pop in or call and they'd do their absolute best to help.About

Went in for acrylic nail removal, and the technician attempted to pick off the acrylic without wearing gloves, using his dirty fingernails. This is absolutely unacceptable. Some acrylic residue was left on my nails, leaving them scratched. Regrettably, encountered two poor instances, firstly my nails didn't set and were easily dented/cut like play-doh?! Luckily, they rectified them. Later, they chipped again (only 2 days after getting them done they chipped!) I've had my nails done many times before and this has never happened to me. I had a massage there yesterday and I can honestly say it was the poorest massage I've ever experienced. When asked about the pressure I preferred - soft, medium, or hard - I chose medium, but it felt like someone was just spreading cream on my back, no actual massage pressure at all. There were numerous distractions, from the therapist leaving the room to attend to another client who arrived, to checking her mobile phone, constant loud notifications, and monitoring the CCTV screen in the room. In my opinion, she seemed to be the owner with no massage experience, lacking any technique at all. It appeared there were no other staff available to perform the massage, so instead of turning me away, she did it herself. For the price, it's truly excellent. The ambiance in the waiting area is delightful, although the treatment rooms can be a tad chilly at times. The students are generally very skilled, and even when you encounter one who may be a bit hesitant or nervous, it's completely understandable - they're still honing their craft! I highly recommend indulging in a treatment or two and then enjoying a meal at the Chefs Academy. The views are simply lovely.
