A fantastic, welcoming and stylish salon. Welcomed with a friendly greeting and a delightful cup of tea! (Much needed as a new parent of 2!) Opted for a total makeover and after a detailed discussion with Elliot, I felt assured I was in good hands and she explained which hues would complement my complexion, hair shapes for my face and overall style. She is a wizard in her craft and would highly recommend. My new hairstyle is now something I enjoy styling, not too overwhelming but with a fantastic burst of colour to match my persona! I treated myself for my birthday. I booked a full pedicure and manicure, ensuring all I wanted was included.
The technician assumed I wanted a mini mani/pedi. I clarified I wanted a full treatment focusing on scrub/hard skin removal/massage, not just polish. She proceeded without soaking my nails, claiming it's better to polish before soaking.
After finishing my nails, someone else started the soak late. I still had scrub on my feet when my music hadn't even finished playing. I tried to wipe it off but still felt it until I washed my feet at home.
My fingernails were done without soaking, only cuticle work and polish. They looked pretty but not what I desired.
The staff were nice, but I didn't get what I asked for. I struggled to voice my dissatisfaction. I felt disappointed and like I wasted my money.
Days later, my feet were dry and peeling, and my fingernail skin was peeling too. Nicola active on social media but fails to reply. Highly unprofessional, common occurrence based on reviews. Cancelled another appointment after speaking to Nicola in person, she suggested I come to her, booked me in, then didn't show up despite confirming the appointment the day before. I've visited this place twice before and was content with the nail service. However, my most recent visit left me extremely dissatisfied! The communication over the phone was quite unclear, my nails ended up being varying lengths, and the white polish turned out to be a yellowish hue! Moreover, the attendant was exceptionally impolite when I requested two different types of glitter on my nails; she even chuckled at my request and couldn't comprehend it! I strongly advise against this place. I had my initial session this week. I've never tried anything on my eyebrows before and was unsure how to achieve a natural look with permanent makeup. I'm thrilled. The service was thorough, honest with no pushing or pressure. The final result is incredible and I'm overjoyed. The process was painless and serene, and I can't recommend or rate highly enough.
