Always anxious when money is requested upon my arrival at the establishment. When I inquired about payment before my massage, the Manager was summoned and I was requested to depart. The premises appear dim and neglected. Unable to provide a rating for the massage as I did not receive one... overall, a fortunate escape perhaps. Not in line with my usual experiences. I have received exceptional Thai massages in various parts of the world, usually in very hygienic and well-maintained facilities. The nail care sector lacks regulation in the United Kingdom, allowing such places to operate unchecked. I had been looking for a good local Edinburgh based salon for a while that can help my natural hair and was so happy when I found that - when I came across the Hair Sanctuary. Olivia and the team have been amazing they pay great time, care and attention to my hair to understand my hair needs and what I’m looking with lots of helpful tips and advice. On both occasions I have left with my scalp feeling amazing and my hair strong, soft, shiny and well moisturised from their wonderful treatments. If I could award Mei 10 stars I would. He was exceptional. Following a detailed discussion involving numerous queries and responses, Mei examined my tongue and took my pulse before gently inserting necessary needles in the targeted areas. Subsequently, he dimmed the lights and left a heat lamp on me while playing soft, soothing music.
This was succeeded by a thorough head and neck massage using oils, and then I flipped over for him to work on the back of my head, neck, and shoulders. The session was comprehensive, and I felt the immediate benefits. I am delighted to have discovered Mei and will definitely return to him. Today was my first visit to this salon, and it was an incredible experience. The response to my appointment request was prompt, everything ran on schedule, and I felt genuinely welcomed and at ease throughout. Even during a spray tan, which isn't always the most comfortable, the lady was delightful. The customer service was top-notch, and the salon was stunning.
