Visited this morning to have my hair blow-dried for my son's wedding. I requested a straight finish. I was informed that someone had called in sick, but it was fine and my appointment was still on. As soon as she started on my hair, I could tell she wasn't skilled. She just waved the dryer over my hair to flatten it at the roots?? I used to work as a hairdresser, so I know how blowouts should be done, and I've had my hair beautifully straightened many times at other salons... The two "stylists" talked over me and my daughter, and kept leaving to answer the phone (3 times), discussing with other staff about trying to locate Sam's grandma's phone number... This experience cost me £20, and I had to come home and redo my hair myself... I will never return to your salon... the entire experience was a disgrace. To get to El Rebel Tattoos in Shiremoor, Newcastle, take bus number 310 from None to Shiremoor Metro Station, then walk 5 minutes to the shop located at the corner of Station Road and Earsdon Road. If driving, head west on Main Street, turn right onto Front Street, left onto Park Lane, right onto Station Road, and the shop will be on your left at the intersection with Earsdon Road.
