Worst beauty salon experience ever. The salon was deserted, the employees were unwelcoming, speaking in their own tongue, and my nail technician was constantly on her phone while working on my nails. To top it off, they sprang the cash-only payment rule on me after my treatment - luckily I had cash on hand. I felt incredibly uncomfortable throughout the whole ordeal. It's no surprise the salon was empty. The French tip acrylic nails they did for me were sloppy. I had to go to another salon, American Nails, a week later to fix their shoddy work. My experience here was absolutely dreadful. I walked in and requested biab nails, mentioning it was my first time getting a manicure. The individual I spoke with responded with, 'You want biabs?' to which I confirmed. However, he proceeded to apply acrylics without confirming if I wanted extensions, directly gluing them to my nails and filing them down. Unfamiliar with the process, I went along with it. The technician displayed impatience when I struggled to choose a colour and length, despite my clear request for 'short and natural'. He cut my cuticles, causing them to bleed. Subsequently, a woman took over, applying acrylics without my knowledge. Realizing this, I inquired about the process, only to discover it was not biab. The removal process was painful, and my nails were damaged in the end. The offer to switch to biab for an additional £45 after the mishap was unacceptable. I strongly advise against continuing treatment with Penny for electrolysis. After investing over 3 years in sessions, I saw no improvement whatsoever. Despite the repeated treatments, the same hairs kept growing back unchanged. I had a nagging feeling that something was amiss, but I persisted, assuming it required more time. Eventually, I reached a breaking point and voiced my concerns about the regrowth, suggesting a stronger setting. To my surprise, Penny dismissed the idea, attributing the lack of progress to unrelated factors like my menstrual cycle regularity. I reached out to the British Institute & Association of Electrolysis, who validated my doubts and clarified that a stronger setting is indeed a valid approach. They highlighted the importance of thorough treatment to prevent hair regrowth, a step overlooked in my sessions. Disheartened by this revelation, I switched to a new practitioner and witnessed significant improvements. The new approach was not only effective but also accompanied by detailed explanations of the process. Subsequently, I filed a complaint against Penny with the BIAE, who acknowledged the substandard service I received. Communication lapses, inadequate record-keeping, and the absence of treatment documentation were among the identified shortcomings. This entire experience has been emotionally taxing, leading me to question my own expectations and judgment. I regret the wasted time and resources and urge others to be vigilant in selecting their healthcare providers, prioritising results and transparency.

I visited this place last night for reflexology and a full body massage, and despite my initial nerves, Jodie immediately put me at ease. The following two hours were pure bliss - the closest I'll ever get to heaven! I walked in feeling stressed and anxious, but this lady completely melted it all away. I had the best night's sleep in ages and still feel fantastic today!
I cannot praise this lady enough and I will definitely be back soon.
