The dentist and her assistant were very pleasant, explaining everything and providing options. They were not pushy in making decisions. I am quite anxious, but they managed to put me at ease. The receptionists were all lovely and helpful. I've visited this salon twice for a hair colouring, and both times have been disappointing. The results were so bad that I had to go elsewhere to have it fixed. When the bleach wasn't left on for the usual duration and the entire process only took 1.5 to 2 hours for my long, thick hair, I should have been wary. Paying £160 to walk around feeling self-conscious with visible lines where the colour starts and stops is unacceptable. The stylist's struggles during the process were not encountered by a less experienced stylist I had at uni. There was no sense of haste or pressure to accommodate the next client quickly; instead, you felt valued and included throughout the session. The owner, Alex, ensured that you were satisfied with your nails at every stage, engaging in inclusive conversations that didn't make you feel like a passive listener. Jess is a skilled professional. They show genuine care for their clients. My concern was a facial paralysis known as Bell's Palsy, causing half of my face to droop, which was quite distressing. Jess suggested facial reflexology, and I truly believe it made a difference. I have now recovered, and it feels incredible to look and feel 'normal' again.
