It's been ages since I last had my nails done, but now I'm seriously considering making it a regular treat. The salon is always bustling with customers, but they handle it all with such ease. A friend of mine visited there recently and had a negative experience with a relaxer. My own encounter was years back when I was confronted by a hairstylist named Olivia. She expressed dissatisfaction with my hair, and when I requested clarification, she became enraged and her demeanour changed drastically - like the Hulk. My stylist, who has since left but was a kind man, advised me to ignore her as she had been causing problems with the staff. When she left and returned to argue, she ended up getting aggressive with me, even squaring up with my wet hair still being styled. I simply asked her to repeat herself, and she retorted, "I don't know why I'm even talking to you; you're not my client anyway." I believe she was suggesting a change, but I didn't comprehend her. She returned shouting and ready to escalate the situation. I had to stand my ground as being shouted over was unacceptable. I am certain that if my stylist hadn't intervened, she might have become physically violent. It was completely unexpected. Aggressive, rude, and just plain unpleasant. She reduced me to tears and then had the audacity to charge me Β£150 for the ordeal. Heather, the owner, assured me that my next visit would be complimentary. However, I have never returned since the experience was dreadful. No amount of money or free services would entice me to go back. I doubt my friend will return as well.About

I recently had a haircut at Visage, and I am extremely disappointed with the results. The haircut was extremely wonky and uneven. I emailed the salon expressing my concerns, and they offered me an appointment the same day, which I couldn't attend due to prior commitments.
I explained my situation in a reply email and requested an alternative solution. Unfortunately, I have been ignored since then, despite sending numerous follow-up emails. This lack of communication and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. I expected better service and a resolution to this issue.
I hope this review serves as feedback for improvement and caution for potential customers. This has been weighing on my mind for some time and I felt now was the right moment to speak out.
I walked into this salon after a desperate search for nail care. It was a last-ditch effort as the signage was unwelcoming to those unfamiliar with the language on it, but I decided to take a chance. Upon entering, the male nail technician gave me a disapproving look, almost as if questioning my presence or purpose there, even though he was nearly done with his current client. I inquired, "Excuse me, can you do my nails?" to which he responded, "fully booked." The fact that I perceived this as discrimination stemmed from the fact that this individual had just opened the shop and was sitting alone on their phone when I arrived. Instead of suggesting I return another day or at a different time, the interaction felt unwelcoming and dismissive, likely due to my appearance not fitting the typical clientele they were used to.
Ultimately, it was their loss in terms of potential customers, but establishments like this should be called out for such behaviour. This subtle discrimination has persisted for too long, and individuals should not be allowed to get away with such unwarranted actions.
I urge you to educate yourselves on the significant contributions made by diverse groups to the UK economy. Perhaps this will lead to a more positive shift in mindset. It's 2020!
