Genuine feedback - I'm not someone who enjoys getting my hair done. Especially since I've had a hair crisis. After having kids and little time for self-care, I finally took the plunge and booked an appointment. I was very self-conscious about my hair condition before I entered (damaged, box-dyed, poorly cut, split ends... The list goes on) but I sat down and braced myself for the assessment. To my surprise, I was reassured about my hair. They explained what needed to be done but also considered my preferences. I've always wanted to find a salon to become my regular go-to place but never succeeded... until now. They truly value mental well-being and efficient time management. I was kept informed throughout and left feeling very confident. I've already scheduled two more appointments after just one visit. Thank you for personalizing my experience. On my second visit, I had a great experience with the facial and I adore the therapist who performed it. I will definitely return for that. However, when I tried the Hollywood wax this time, the therapist who handled it was very poor. It made for a very painful experience. I had booked for hot wax (which is what I paid for) but she mostly used strip wax. She seemed to struggle with the hot wax. After 10 minutes, I was regretting why I chose to come here and have an inexperienced person do this job. I will not be returning for this service. I was incredibly anxious during my initial visit, but Dr. Patel made me feel completely secure and took the time to understand my concerns and reassure me about any potential issues. That was more than 3 years ago now. The transformation is evident in my photos. It's truly incredible! It has completely changed how I perceive myself when I look in the mirror. I wouldn't trust anyone else. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I booked a "Festival hair" appointment for 2 French braids at the back and 2 buns on top (I checked beforehand if they could do this style, they said yes). Once seated, the stylist struggled with the braids, so I suggested doing them on top instead, to which she agreed. After struggling with the top braids, she only managed to do one messy braid. I told her to forget it and just do the buns... after another 20 minutes, all she did was tie my hair in pigtails and brush them!! She even attempted to use hair donuts for the buns, but couldn't get it right. She then tried to backcomb the pigtails and curl the hair back up, which looked absurd. After sitting for about 45 minutes, I had enough and left. Honey has transformed my brows into two perfectly shaped masterpieces. Additionally, I got my nose pierced at her salon, and it healed quickly without any issues. The salon is conveniently located with ample parking nearby, and the operating hours are accommodating. Even without a prior appointment, Honey is usually able to fit you in. She is incredibly friendly and hospitable. I usually enjoy this place but unfortunately, I was not overly satisfied with the service this time. Since the change in ownership, they now require payment upfront which I found unusual. Additionally, they confiscated my old loyalty card and refused to honour the stamps. Although the massage itself was good, it began late (around 10 minutes) even though I arrived early, and ended on time, meaning I received a 45-50 minute massage instead of the full 60 minutes. In light of International Women’s Day and the upcoming Mother’s Day, we were treated to a glass of fizz and chocolates, making the experience even more delightful. Both of us were pleased with our treatments; my pedicure was lovely, and mum's nails looked great. She even commented on how soft her hands felt.
