If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I booked a "Festival hair" appointment for 2 French braids at the back and 2 buns on top (I checked beforehand if they could do this style, they said yes). Once seated, the stylist struggled with the braids, so I suggested doing them on top instead, to which she agreed. After struggling with the top braids, she only managed to do one messy braid. I told her to forget it and just do the buns... after another 20 minutes, all she did was tie my hair in pigtails and brush them!! She even attempted to use hair donuts for the buns, but couldn't get it right. She then tried to backcomb the pigtails and curl the hair back up, which looked absurd. After sitting for about 45 minutes, I had enough and left. I usually enjoy this place but unfortunately, I was not overly satisfied with the service this time. Since the change in ownership, they now require payment upfront which I found unusual. Additionally, they confiscated my old loyalty card and refused to honour the stamps. Although the massage itself was good, it began late (around 10 minutes) even though I arrived early, and ended on time, meaning I received a 45-50 minute massage instead of the full 60 minutes. In light of International Women’s Day and the upcoming Mother’s Day, we were treated to a glass of fizz and chocolates, making the experience even more delightful. Both of us were pleased with our treatments; my pedicure was lovely, and mum's nails looked great. She even commented on how soft her hands felt.
