I popped into the salon in St. Ives today without a booking for some hair colour advice following a mishap with pool chlorine!
The team there were exceptional - the salon head directed a trainee to give me a special rinse and hair mask, and their care and guidance were top-notch! I'm thrilled with the results!!

Visited for lunch on Sunday. Being a selective vegetarian, I struggled to choose between two options. I sought the server's advice and followed it. I asked to swap the egg for avocado (picky, I know!), and it was no trouble at all. The food was absolutely perfect, incredibly delicious. The flavours were excellent, portions were generous, and everything harmonised beautifully. I adored it. Absolutely revolting food. Highly recommend a visit to this shop. We visited while on holiday in Scotland and the owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Outstanding service, aim to arrive early or on time to secure a parking spot as otherwise, you may need to find alternative parking. The staff are incredibly helpful and ensure everything is prepared for your ride. Located just across from the trail's starting point. Couldn't find a single fault. I had a massage and facial from Alex whilst in the middle of a walking holiday. Alex was really friendly and professional and went out of her way to make things work in a slightly less than optimal hotel room, and make me feel really comfortable. The massage was perfect for recovery and relaxation. I could tell that she tailored things to work on areas that needed it and after I felt really rejuvenated. The facial too was great and my skin was glowing for days after. Again she took my needs into account. The products were great, smelled delicious and all in all a fantastic experience. Worth every penny. Splendid vintage shop! The proprietors were exceedingly gracious and engaging, offering us valuable insights on upcoming vintage fairs and must-see destinations. We acquired a delightful Clarice Cliff vase and a pair of 1930’s pitchers, both reasonably priced. A wide array of antiques to peruse. Notably, we encountered no parking issues as some have mentioned.
