I recently visited this charming spa in Bridge Lane. The therapist was very attentive as I explained that I needed a firm massage as I had just spent 16 hours on a flight from South East Asia and 8 hours waiting for the connections. He asked, "How much pressure?" and I replied, "Authentic Thai style," which he understood meant intense but necessary. He identified all the tense muscles and also targeted the lymph nodes to reduce fluid retention from prolonged inactivity.
It's important to speak slowly and be willing to simplify your words for those who don't have English as their first language. I have to do this with my Welsh colleague (a fantastic person), so patience is key. To get to The Beauty Island Sanctuary at 75 Victoria Rd, Worthing BN11 1UN, United Kingdom by public transport, take bus number 700 from Worthing Railway Station and alight at the Richmond Road stop, then walk south on Victoria Road for approximately 5 minutes. If driving, head east on South Street, turn left onto Richmond Road, then right onto Victoria Road where you will find the sanctuary on your left after approximately 3 crossroads.
