Not all instructors seem to check the attendees' records beforehand to be aware of any pregnant individuals in their class and adequately accommodate them. I was informed only upon arrival to the class that I couldn't participate in the Ten Stretch session due to my pregnancy - it was frustrating to waste time and money only to be turned away at the door! The guidelines on prenatal classes should clearly state that stretch classes are off-limits. Despite providing my due date on several occasions for their records, not all instructors are prepared for such situations.
