I was quite concerned about the lines on my forehead (I am very expressive with my face) and worried about losing the ability to move and express myself as usual. However, after it all, it was just fantastic, being able to move my eyebrows normally (this time without lines!!). I'm not one to disclose the procedures I've had with others, but so many people remarked on how 'well' I appeared, it made me feel confident and I enjoyed putting on makeup, which I had disliked for so long... Dr Antony was fantastic, as always, and knew exactly what I needed; the follow-up care was excellent too! Unfortunately, the service was subpar as they accidentally cut her finger with a metal file, the french tips were uneven, and they forgot to apply a gel top coat. Every lady there radiates warmth and charm. Despite it being my inaugural visit for a mani and pedi, the service left much to be desired. The gel application on my hands was satisfactory, but the so-called "luxury" pedicure was subpar. The mat used during the pedicure was unclean, with remnants from previous patrons. I kept my feet elevated throughout the session; a thorough cleaning of the entire establishment is imperative. This hair salon was recommended to me by a friend, so I made an appointment for a simple cut and finish. Interestingly, I wasn't seated in the styling chair until about 15 to 20 minutes after my scheduled time. After the hair wash, I was directed to sit back down on my own and found another customer in the chair. He inquired if he was in my spot, and I replied uncertainly. At that moment, another stylist called out for me to take a different seat across the salon. It was quite awkward. When my stylist returned, I explained that I wanted some length taken off the ends and some framing around my face. She mentioned she would start with longer bangs and adjust them if needed. However, she cut them quite short right away. Although I didn't mind as they didn't look bad, I would have preferred them slightly longer given the choice. I'm unsure if she was rushing due to the next client waiting in the salon, as our appointment ran over since I wasn't seated promptly. She styled my hair curly, and over the following week, I had to wear my hair up for work every day. When I straightened it for a family gathering, my whole family pointed out that my hair wasn't cut evenly - the left side was slightly longer than the right, and there were some strands left longer than the rest, mostly on the right side in the photo. It was an awkward and embarrassing experience from start to finish. I'm hesitant to give this a one-star rating because the stylist was genuinely lovely, but the service for £42 just wasn't up to par.
