The director is a traitor, who enjoys discriminating against Caucasians. Never had an issue entering a store and exiting due to lack of desired items, yet around 20:20 today when leaving the shop the director triggered the alarm and then repeatedly questioned me about my pockets, despite demonstrating by walking back through that it wasn't me causing the alarm. Disgusting accusations ensued, not conduct fitting of any M & S, let alone any other retail outlet. A cosy (three treatment rooms) spa with a Gym, Sauna, and Steam Room, which is just ideal at this moment. Didn't want to go somewhere crowded, and this felt secure and exclusive with just my child and I having treatments and the place all to ourselves! The staff were delightful, and Anthony in particular who provided my massage was fantastic. She even extended it as my child's treatment was taking longer. Had a facial by a lady who could advise me on the best type for my face, and my child had a non-chemical face peel. Reserved a night here in the adjacent hotel to utilise the Mandara spa facilities. The massages were exceptional by Rhiannon along with the delightful assortment of fruit, nuts, cookies, and teas in the relaxation area. Also relished using the exclusive lounge area where more food was already prepared for us to enjoy. The only thing we paid for all day was a bottle of wine as all the other food and drinks were included in our spa package, which was on a special offer at £129 for two people with four massages each and full use of the spa facilities, including pool, sauna, steam room, showers, and loungers. (Could really do with more loungers or chairs). The hotel itself is sizeable with eateries, a bar area, and live music with ample seating. After a 30-minute journey, I arrived to find it closed without any explanation. The staff were unhelpful, and myself along with other customers were shocked and upset to discover that we couldn't get our medication after making a specific trip. I’m really disappointed with the service I received here. I came into the salon to simply get my hair tied up as I had an event later that day and I’ve got a disability so I can’t do it myself. For something that would’ve simply taken 5 minutes, it was made into an hour and a half’s procedure. Everything that I requested not to happen, did happen. I asked the hairdresser not to use spray as I’d just washed my hair and he used it, and it left crusty/sticky residue in my hair. We came to take my hair out later and it had been tied in a knot and was matted, it has completely wrecked the ends of my hair. He said he wanted to cut my hair and I said no, and luckily he listened to that request as all others had been ignored. I came to pay, as I was expecting to have to pay a small fee for just putting it in a ponytail. I was charged £20 for having it be put in a half up half down, something that anybody could’ve done and the hairdresser said that this “was a discount”. I spoke to friends to receive advice later that day and they said that I’d been taken advantage of because of my disability.
