Spent an hour with the wonderfully knowledgeable, chatty and experienced Harry at the spa prodding, pounding and essentially kneading me like dough has done wonders, my lower back, neck, shoulders, hamstring and calves now feel incredibly for lack of a better term 'unknotted'. To get to Mila Beauty at 505 Tamworth Rd, Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10 3GR by public transport, you can take the bus number 21 from Nottingham city centre and get off at the Long Eaton Market Place stop, then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the salon. If you prefer to drive, you can take the A6005 from Nottingham, turn right onto Fields Farm Road, then left onto Tamworth Rd where the salon is located on the left side.

Purchased a spa retreat for two, including 90 minutes of treatments - a hot stone full body massage, facial, and scalp massage. Access to the fire/ice & rainforest spa followed by afternoon tea. Worth every penny. The staff we interacted with were friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. The venue is well-kept and spotless. The treatments were absolutely incredible, the highlight of the day. The staff are truly skilled at what they do. The variety of saunas & steam rooms were exactly what we needed. Spent 5 hours trying them all. The rainforest cafe was stunning, and the afternoon tea was delightful. The rainforest spa exuded tranquillity, with the decor, visuals, and music enhancing the relaxation experience. Will definitely return, especially with the discount return voucher. I underwent three different treatments at Kiva Skin over three consecutive days this week as a birthday treat. I had a full body massage with Alex, a pedicure with Oliver, and a manicure with Ethan. They were all delightful, and the treatments were exceptional. I feel incredibly relaxed and pampered. I rarely indulge in such self-care, but I will certainly be back. Somewhat disappointed. Arrived at the restaurant only to be informed that I hadn't completed a taste test yet. Consequently, I'll be charged 50% of the meal cost and need to reschedule for another day. Considering the restaurant is fully booked for the next 2 months, this is quite frustrating.
I'm disheartened that no one contacted me in advance to remind me about the taste test. I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. I requested a simple set of square acrylic nails with a solid baby pink gel colour. However, the technician did not shape the tips before applying the acrylic, resulting in a messy application that left my nails thick and uneven. Despite the promise of fixing them, the end result was still unsatisfactory, leaving me no choice but to spend additional money on supplies to rectify the situation myself.
