FANTASTIC :) Allow me to begin by expressing my absolute adoration for this salon. A few friends and I used to avail various treatments at this establishment when we were younger and always relished the atmosphere and service. Subsequently, I relocated away from the vicinity, residing in distant lands and eventually returning to London where I engaged the services of numerous nail technicians to maintain the appearance of my nails.
Amongst all of them, NEW YORK NAILS STAND OUT!. I frequent Helen who possesses exceptional talent, and I am consistently pleased with the final outcome. Furthermore, Helen and all the other individuals at the salon are incredibly amicable and genuinely care for their clients (for instance, I mentioned my upcoming birthday and upon my return for my next appointment, they remembered, inquired about how I celebrated, and presented me with a small gift) EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have been coming to Alex for waxing and Laser treatment for about 9 years. He's extremely professional and welcoming. I initially had 6 treatments of Laser hair removal on my legs and bikini around 7 years ago and the hair has massively reduced. I will be returning in November for a top up session but its been amazing to not have to shave all the time. I inquired with the staff at DUAN if they could take off my nails. They confirmed they could. It took them a total of 120 minutes to remove my nails. Not only did they run out of the solution to soak my nails, but they also informed me of this setback just 10 minutes into the removal process. Moreover, it turned out to be a lengthy procedure, and they accidentally cut into my skin while using other tools to remove the nails. The equipment they used thinned out my nail to the extent that it caused a burning sensation. Midway through, the owner suggested I could leave with my nails half-done if it was too painful, but I insisted they continue, requesting them to be gentle. Eventually, the pain became unbearable, and I ended up in tears. Not only were the nails not removed properly, but they also ended up damaging my nails and skin, all while charging me the full price. As someone who works in a hospital, I know that this is not the level of service that should be provided to customers. I was thoroughly dissatisfied and, more so, appalled by the boss's behaviour. However, the other employees were delightful. My experience was infuriating, and I can confidently state that I will not be returning. I stumbled upon this salon due to its late operating hours, seeking an infile nail service. The technician's lack of skill was evident from the outset, leading to a prolonged and unsatisfactory appointment. My £50 expenditure for a simple service left me feeling unprofessional and aggrieved. I implore the manager to reconsider hiring inexperienced individuals, as this conduct is unacceptable and warrants repercussions. I had my eyebrows styled with the HD technique around Christmas. The therapist was delightful, and everyone I encountered during booking was fantastic. However, the actual treatment did not meet my expectations. There was no mapping done, and the pencil application was too heavy. It felt amateurish. Being a first-timer, I assumed this was normal. But after getting them done elsewhere recently, the difference was like night and day.
