My lashes have great longevity (I top up every 2 weeks) and can easily go 3 weeks between infills. Her studio is clean and organized, and she is very accommodating to my busy schedule. My companions and I had an extremely disappointing experience while receiving manicures and pedicures. It was evident that the staff lacked proper training and simply carried out tasks that could easily be done at home. There was no trimming, massaging, shaping, or buffing of our nails. One of my friends was subjected to cold air to dry her nail polish, leaving her feeling uncomfortably cold. Essentially, we were just left to soak in water and that was labelled as a "spa" treatment. Despite my request for a shiny buff without nail polish, I was only given a 30-second buff that left my nails looking worse than before. The explanation provided was that "this is how it's done." To make matters worse, my ingrown nail was cut without consent and not in a proper manner. I ultimately declined the manicure as it would have been a waste of both my time and money to receive essentially nothing in return. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. I've been to this salon a few times as I couldn't make it to Central for my nails. My last visit was on 11th Feb! I was really disappointed. Called on Wed to check for Fri mani/pedi appointments. Only a pedi slot at 4 pm was open, so I booked it. Got a pedicure seat/tank that didn't work. Asked to switch but it was given to a regular 30 min later! Water leaked, jets couldn't be on due to excessive bubbles, and the noise was annoying. Asked them to fix it, but the response was indifferent. The staff and other customers made me feel like a bother, though I was paying for a subpar service. Asked about a manicure, which they said was fully booked when I called. Took the lady 20 mins to find an available slot. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with regulars than serving me. During the pedicure, the focus was on the foot arch, not where the dead skin actually was. Kept telling her it hurt, but she brushed it off. Overall, the service was awful, and the nail painting was poorly done. Noticed a difference in treatment between white and non-white customers, with subtle racist remarks. Won't be returning. The card machine hasn't been working for 6 months, forcing them to note down card details - very unprofessional.
