Had to endure a 20-minute wait for Olivia to finish with her previous client. Washed, cut, blow-dried, and straightened. Left shampoo in my hair. Roughly dried my hair until it was almost dry instead of properly blow-drying it with a hairbrush, resulting in a bushy and frizzy mess. Paid £35 for the worst cut and blow-dry I've had in years. Had to rewash my hair when I got home due to the excess shampoo. Would not recommend and will not return. I have encountered George three times now at the Alice Cross Centre. After 20 years of suffering from lower back pain that at times hindered my ability to walk properly, in just these three sessions, I am now reaching a point where I am pain-free. George is exceptionally skilled at his craft, and I have had my fair share of massages. Even if you simply desire some personal relaxation time, it is well worth visiting. I have nearly drifted off to sleep a couple of times and always depart feeling content and relaxed. I wholeheartedly recommend George to anyone. Had my hair cut here for the first time in a while last week, as I no longer live in Teignmouth and am just visiting over festive period. Can't recommend this place enough! Last time I came in was a couple of years ago for an auburn balayage - didn't leave review at the time but it was also a very good experience. This time I think the stylist's name was Ruby (sorry if I remembered wrong!) She did a brilliant job. I just had a simple wash and cut because my hair was dead at the ends due to lots of colouring over the years which I'm growing out, and last time I had it cut was elsewhere and they put much shorter layers in than I wanted, which left the longest lengths looking thin. So I wanted to get rid of my split ends, and blend the layers together a bit so it would look more full, and she did an absolutely perfect job! I'm super happy with it. The layers are perfectly balanced, my dead ends are gone, and it just looks so much healthier. The best I've felt about my hair in a while. Thank you so much!
