My personal experience involved a cut and colour service carried out by a stylist charging senior rates, who nevertheless had to seek guidance from the owner regarding colour selection and application techniques. Regrettably, I left the salon with no discernible change to my appearance but a noticeable dent in my wallet. Throughout the appointment, there was a distinct lack of communication, creating an unwelcoming and elitist atmosphere that deterred me from expressing my dissatisfaction. Interestingly, my initial review for the salon awarded five stars following a stellar service by a former employee, who unfortunately departed on maternity leave and never returned. Mentioning this positive experience to Guy on a subsequent visit was met with indifference, as he dismissed the significance of reviews. How perspectives have shifted, Guy.
