I had an incredible, relaxing pampering session for my face and neck just before my wedding day. Alex is the proprietor, a warm and welcoming individual. With light conversations and a cup of herbal tea, she made me feel right at home. The transformation in my skin post-treatment was astounding; it looked younger, cleaner, and rejuvenated. Alex also provided guidance on skincare maintenance and recommended some products for home use. I continued the regimen independently and fell in love with the products. I have visited this salon quite frequently and have generally been happy with the service and manicures. However, during my last visit over a month ago, everything seemed fine initially. The day after, I experienced intense pain under the nail beds and around the tips of my nails. I have tried to pinpoint the cause, as I have never experienced this before. It seems to be related to something used on my nails at the salon or something that wasn't used properly. I am absolutely thrilled with the haircut I received from Katerina. The entire process, which I typically dread - from not being sure of what I want, to explaining my limitations in terms of styling, to apologizing for the irritated skin on my scalp - all the usual things that make me hesitant to get a haircut, she handled with grace, humour, and empathy, and gave me the best haircut I have ever had. It feels sleek, a tad bit edgy, and even earned approval from my teenager. Thank you, Katerina, it was truly a pleasure. I also appreciate the natural, organic ethos of the salon and purchased a sample of a shampoo bar that I am excited to try.
